The last month was an exciting period for the BLOCKv team and community! At the end of Q1, 2018 we reached our first milestone. (Refer to the roadmap in our whitepaper here). This was a significant step in our company development and one we had been working towards for a long time. Not only did we deliver our promise of releasing our technology to the wider community, but we also continued working with partners on expanding use cases.

Strategic Partnerships to Showcase vAtoms:
DJ SASHA
BLOCKv and Grammy-nominated DJ Sasha partnered yet again during the Winter Music Conference (WMC) in Miami, FL, reinventing the live event tickets market. The vAtomized tickets, built on the BLOCKv platform, were digital “passports” containing a number of event-related smart objects. Each object represented a different experience, from augmented reality contests, to interactive games, community chats, and more. This partnership changed the audience engagement and the fan-artist relationship, bringing the first in class event experience. Cataboom
BLOCKv partnered with CataBoom and Alienware, a Dell company, to create the world’s first game inside of a vAtom. The project launched in early April at PAX East, a gaming culture festival in Boston, MA that gathered over hundred thousand industry professionals, media representatives and gaming enthusiasts. Over 7,500 games were played and users unlocked more than 4,500 prizes. The prizes ranged from Dell Products’ discounts to Steem codes and the grand prize of Alienware Aurora System. The activation also allowed to engage gamers around the world that were not able to attend the conference. Furthermore, vAtoms established a continued communication and engagement through customer experience surveys and conversation within the vAtoms post-event. Read more here:
ESI Media
BLOCKv and ESI Media partnered to showcase a new consumer engagement mechanism in the light of the digital shift in media publishing industry. The project showcased at the exclusive and prestigious SKY Innovation Awards event in UK’s Google offices was a hit with the attendees! Read more here:

Puerto Crypto
Early adopters, innovators and investors in blockchain technology,gathered at Blockchain Unbound, “a conference focused on connecting Puerto Rico with visionary entrepreneurs and investors in the blockchain, cryptocurrency and ICO vertical.” Puerto Rico’s Secretary of Economic Development, and other high ranking government officials and crypto leaders provided an update on the state of the island and blockchain industry. BLOCKv CEO Reeve Collins spoke about Blockchain 3.0 and how our company is leading the transformation. Watch the presentation here:
Roadmap:
Most importantly, after months of hard work, we have released our BLOCKv Platform and Developer Portal to the public. Our APIs, Mobile SDKs with a robust portal containing a set of extensive documentation, API References, Sample Apps & SDKs, Profile Management and Support allow developers to build smart digital objects on or off blockchain, bringing the digital world to life. We have worked tirelessly to create the tools that remove the complexity layer of blockchain and lower the costs and time to market entry.The beta release of the platform brought an overwhelming interest and applications. We have finished the first round of application reviews and accepted 24 new developer teams to our platform. BLOCKv has also granted these new developers VEE tokens to start building vAtoms. We are beyond excited to see their vision come to fruition!
As we have communicated previously, we are on-boarding a limited number of developers as part of a staged rollout to ensure smooth onboarding and preparation for the public launch in Q2, 2018. The second round applications is open now. Read more here and request access to our platform here.
